The Town and Village of Athens provide Police, Fire, Emergency Medical, Rescue, Prevention and other related services to the citizens of this community. When an emergency ensues, both volunteer and part time paid members provide professional care and protection to our citizens.
The Town of Athens works with the West Athens - Limestreet Fire Department, the Leeds Volunteer Fire Company, the Town of Catskill Ambulance for Basic Life Support EMS services, and the Greene County medic for Advanced Life Support services.
